Where it all began for me

My name is John Bagge. Years ago, the Lord put in my heart the desire to reach this generation’s children with the Gospel of Salvation through music. It brings me so much joy to lead them in worship every Sunday at my home church, Calvary Chapel.

Songs to inspire scripture memorization

My scripture-memory structure to songwriting came to me years ago when I had become overwhelmed by the difficult task of getting children to remember the bible verses they learned in Sunday school. I credit the Lord for the inspiration to teach children to hide the Word in their hearts. And what better way to have your children remember the Word of God than by enjoying it through music, while singing along with the cool, sometimes silly lyrics?

God has blessed me tremendously through the years and I’ve been privileged to lead young and old into worship.

From Sunday School to the recording studio

I am published by Integrity Music. I also have been leading Children’s Worship Ministry Workshops for over 7 years for worship leaders who are seeking new ways to better lead their classroom or sundayschool in the worship of God.

My music is being played locally in Seattle, Washington. For those of you in Southern California, you can hear Bagge’s Bible Tunes on KLOVE radio. I pray that soon this music will reach the hearts of kids and adults all around the United States, even reach the rest of the world.

After being encouraged by many parents of my Sunday school to record these scripture memory songs, I wanted to make Bagge’s Bible Tunes Vol. 2; an all-ages-friendly compilation of modern music production that kids can enjoy with their parents.

This God-oriented, all-ages music project is jam-packed with a cornucopia of styles and live instruments, recorded by professional musicians. I am confident the scripture-memory songs on this album will change the lives of children and bring them boldly into the presence of the Living God.
